Music for Two Oboes or Any Pair of Treble-Voiced Instruments from Standard Oboe RepertoireImpetus for the two oboe arrangements started with a research project at Texas Tech University, titled, "Derivation of Thematic Single Line Oboe Accompaniments to Accompany Standard Solo Oboe Repertoire. The intent of the project was twofold: to produce in score form the original solo oboe part alongside a single line thematic oboe accompaniment derived from melodic lines of piano or orchestral accompaniments of standard oboe repertoire, as well as
