Richmond Locksmith 24/7 is pleased to offer an annual essay writing scholarship for high school seniors and current college students. This scholarship aims to assist students in pursuing their academic goals through an essay contest.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a graduating high school senior or current college student
- Planning to attend or currently attending an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university
Award: One $1,000 scholarship awarded annually. The award will be paid directly to the recipient’s college or university.
To Apply: Submit a 500-1000 word essay responding to the following prompt:
“Describe a experience where you needed to think creatively to solve a problem. How did you approach the situation and what was the outcome?”
Essays will be evaluated based on:
- Organization and structure
- Creativity and critical thinking skills demonstrated
- Clarity of writing and grammar
In addition to the essay, applicants must submit:
- Most recent academic transcript
- List of extracurricular activities
Deadline: Submissions must be received by October 15, 2023. The winner will be notified by October 20, 2023.
